Algedra delivered this 3,900 sq. m. residential palace in Al Mamzar, Dubai, as a full-scope commission — from an empty plot through to furnished handover. The client engaged Algedra before any design work had begun, placing architecture, interior design, construction documentation, fit-out, and project management under one roof for the duration of the project.
The design concept is rooted in classical Roman architecture. The exterior presents a symmetrical facade with a colonnaded entrance sequence, layered cornices, and arched openings arranged with the weight and proportion characteristic of the Roman classical tradition. Interior spaces carry the same language inward — coffered ceilings of considerable height, ornamental columns finished in European marble, carved stone detailing, and bespoke metalwork applied consistently across principal reception areas, formal entertaining rooms, and private residential quarters.
Algedra's scope on the project covered every stage of delivery. The architectural team developed the building's massing and spatial programme in direct response to the client's brief, secured authority approvals in Dubai, and produced detailed construction drawings fully coordinated across architecture, structure, and MEP. Three-dimensional renderings of both the exterior and all principal interior spaces were completed and approved by the client before construction commenced, ensuring the finished building reflects the original design intent without deviation.
Materials were specified, sourced, and sampled in-house. Italian and Greek marble, carved stonework, decorative metalwork, and bespoke millwork feature throughout, each selected to reinforce the Roman classical theme at every scale of detail. Algedra's project management team maintained on-site presence through the construction and fit-out phases, reviewing workmanship continuously against the approved drawings and coordinating the phased fit-out programme to run concurrently with structural works where the build sequence allowed.
The completed palace was handed over fully finished, furnished, and authority-compliant. The Al Mamzar residence stands as one of Algedra's most complete residential deliveries — a project in which a single integrated team carried full responsibility from bare land to occupied home, with no handoffs between firms and no loss of design intent between disciplines.
